Donald Trump was right, the election was rigged. The culprits were not the Hillaryites, however. The culprit was God.
This, at least, is the position taken by former Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and Franklin Graham, head of Billy Graham Evangelical Ministries. Ms. Bachmann cited a specific prayer answered by God at 8:30 pm (EST) on Election Day.
Rev. Graham also credited prayer as the intervening factor but did not give a specific time. “I could sense going across the country that God was going to do something this year,” said Graham. “And I believe that at this election, God showed up.”
Here’s My Take: It’s hard to believe that God “showed up” in the election of a person who, as one man put it, “most wouldn’t support for school board.” It is even harder to believe that evangelical white Christians voted for Trump by an 81% to 16% margin.
People like to believe that Someone is in control, whether insane or not. Who can believe in a God like that? Certainly not the one who said, “I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30).
